Welcome to Our School!
Welcome to the new, online home of the Conemaugh Township Area Middle School and High School Indians! Since our beginning, we’ve been a true focal point for the entire community. To promote communication, we’ve designed our website as a tool to aid students, faculty, parents, and community members in the communication process.

Under the guidance of Mrs. Grove and Ms. Lingenfelter, local students have been actively involved in a variety of community service projects. This includes participating in the 12 Interacts of Christmas, road cleanups, organizing blood drives, sending college care packages, and decorating at Laurel View. Key student leaders include Julia Thomas as president, Jayden Holsopple as vice president, Katie Wiley as secretary, and Ellie Hunsberger as treasurer. Conemaugh Township junior Aidan Burnworth is an independent swimmer who competes against other local swimming teams. He has been practicing with the team since November, but is constantly practicing throughout the rest of the year as well. The first swim meet of the season was held on December 9 at UPJ. During this match, Aidan set two district qualifying times, which means he will be attending districts. Coming into the new year, Aidan will have two more matches left. Aidan stated, “Last year I was sick for most of the year so this year I have to focus on keeping healthy. Along with keeping healthy, I just need to stick to my training and hopefully, my times will drop as the year progresses.”
This year our varsity basketball teams are putting in lots of hard word in practices and are expecting a great season. The seniors of the girls basketball team: Ashlyn Fetterman, Ava Byer, and Katie Wiley came together and discussed that they are excited about the upcoming season. They have been working hard at practice to improve this season. They have a great team bond and are very unselfish. They don’t have the height this year, but they are quick. This year they hope to make it to the playoffs.
Starting at the end of December, there will be posters, boxes, and reminders in the announcements to bring in donations for the Cuddles for Kids program. This will be happening in the high school and elementary school. The school has done this every year with a great number of donations.
